TGIF

I guess I should start off with a little update about us. Chris and I moved back to Pennsylvania following my graduation on June 13, 2008 from chiropractic school. He is currently working at Chestnut Ridge Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Blairsville, PA, and I'm staying at home with the kids. Chris really likes the office and is enjoying seeing the positive impact that he has on people's lives. Anyone in the area should check out the office! Otherwise...
It has been a long couple of weeks in Home, PA.
Both of the kids and I have been dealing with colds (the kids are handling it way better than me) that seem to never go away. I have been working on decorations and plans for Madelyn's birthday party that is now Sunday 10/12. Chris has been pulling some long hours at the office and has been a little stressed out. We both wish that things would pick up in the office and in our lives. We really are looking forward to having our own place and get back into our routine of taking care of the kids and getting our stuff done. I don't think that either of us thought that things would be so difficult after graduation. But we are attempting to stay positive, and appreciate the things that our family here in PA is doing to help us.
I'm looking forward to having the weekend to relax and enjoy my projects!

vampires are to die for

for those of you that haven't read the twilight series, you should at least check out the movie coming out in november. if you've happened upon my facebook page in the last month or so, you might have noticed my status updates have essentially revolved around my undying love for edward cullen (and no, chris doesn't know where he fits in yet with my fantasy). edward is: 1. the main male character in the twilight series 2. the hottest man that ever...lived? 3. the object of my fantasies 4. a vampire. in the movie, he is played by robert pattinson, who also played cedric diggory in the HP films.

oh, this series is also the reason why people may see me posing next to parked volvos around indiana...edward drives a silver volvo S60R, and that is my most current object of desire. i have only seen one (and it wasn't the "r" series) in my quest to have my picture taken with one.

anyway, check out the books, watch the movie preview (and all of the other clips on youtube.com), and mark your calendars for nov 21st--yes, i will be preordering tickets to the theater at the pittsburgh mills. and charelle is not getting out of it, even if i have to drive to her apartment and kidnap her.

new to blogspot

today is my first official day on blogspot. it is also exactly 1 month to madelyn's meeska mooska mickey mouse 2nd birthday bash, and i am busy making invites and decorations already. it's going to be wicked cool.
both of the kids are sick with colds, and dealing with a sick maddie is never fun. it's amazing i have the mental clarity to make this site and update my myspace page. maybe it's because i'm sick of watching the disney channel.
hopefully i'll figure out how to post some pictures and stuff and i'll update this again later.
